What’s on our Mystical Minds……

 

Hi Mystics!                                                October 19, 2007

 It's that time again to recap some of the great times we've had these last 2 months and to inform of you upcoming events and happenings..............

IN THE REMAINDER OF AUGUST:

*Our Members vs. Staff tour was held in Cribbage and was won by Bowlinghippie, representing Team Members!  WTG Hippie!  Second place went to Purc348 for Team Staff, great effort Purc!

*Our USA vs. World tour was held in Hog Heaven and was won by Pamelalynn1 representing Team World! Great job Pam!  Second place went to Mysticalwonder for Team USA, wtg Myst!

*Wawa's month long Poker Championship ended with Desandtom taking home the Golden Chip for the 2nd month in a row!  Fantastic!

*Zam's month long Casino Night ended with PKohley2 walking away with the Championship!  Nice work!

*Our Player of the Month for August was MaryMRitch with 34 wins!  Excellent!

*Our Host with the Most for August was Mysticalwonder!  Nice Job!

IN SEPTEMBER:

*Our TOC Champ for the month of August, held Sept 9th was LeighAnne in Hog Heaven and won a pen handcrafted by Gator and donated by DK!  WTG Leigh!

*Our Wednesday Winners Champ for the month of August, held Sept 5th was Purc348 in Hog Heaven and won a keychain pen handcrafted and donated by Gator! Great job Purc!

*Our Player of the Month for September was KWG0826 with 26 wins!  Excellent!

*Our Host with the Most for September was Mistatorbug with 53 tours hosted!  Nice Job!

*Kioskorner, Dkenzie77 and Cherylblack were all neck and neck this month, all having celebrated their 350th Tours only days apart!!  Awesome job guys!

*Our Staff vs. Members tour was held in Jungle Gin and was won by Risenklein representing Team Staff and won a blown glass egg sculpture donated by Kio! WTG Risen!  Second place went to Need6Speed for Team Members and put up a great fight!

*Gracie's Sept 11th Memory Tour winner was KWG0826 and won an American Flag donated by Red! WTG KWG!

*Among these prize give-away tours we had several big bux prize tours that took place such as Tator's Memory Tours for her brother, DK's Saturday Night Special and Sept 11th was also filled with special tours, memory pages and videos!

IN OCTOBER-THUS FAR

*Our TOC Champ for the month of September, held Oct 12th was PKohley2 in Spooky Slots and won ceramic pumpkins handcrafted and donated by Red!  WTG PK!

*Our Wednesday Winners Champ for the month of September, held Oct 3rd was Kioskorner in WCS and won a keychain pen handcrafted and donated by Gator! Great job Kio!

*Gator hosted his 600th Tournament this month and Zamirathe was the winner and received a pen handcrafted and donated by Gator!  WTG Zam and Congratulations Gator on such a huge milestone!

CURRENT EVENTS

*Saturday October 20th at 7pm EST join DK and Lou in Phlinx for this months BATTLE OF THE SEXES Tour!  All around winner will receive a pen handcrafted by Gator and donated by DK and Lou!  Mens jump number is #2097242 and Womens jump number is #2097811.  Make sure you register for the right one....look for the Men's or Women's title on the registration page.  We may be one big happy Mystical family, but tonight we are divided....who will be the better sex?  The Women........or the Men??  You don't want to miss it!

*Friday October 26th at 9pm EST join Purc in Cribbage for a spectacular BATTLE OF THE LEAGUES Tour!  The Mystical Minds will go head to head with our friends Rocking Lottso for month long bragging rights as the better league!  All around winner will receive a 1000 bux donation!    Can't we all just get along?  Nope, not tonight!!  Who gets to brag? The Mystical Minds or Rocking Lottso??  Join the fun to find out!

*Monday night is Bowling Night!  Every Monday in October at 9 pm you can join Cher in Pogo Bowl for this months Championship Bowling.  The top 4 each week move on to the championships and Monday the 22nd will be the last night to qualify for the final Championship Bowl Off which will be held on Monday the 29th.  Grab your shoes, polish your ball and head for the Open Lanes!

*Make sure you check the monthly calendars often because we are always adding special events and you don’t want to miss them!!  The calendars are located on the right of the Special Event Details Box. Thank you to all of our staff for putting these great tours on our calendar and thank you to all the members of Mystical Minds for making all these tours such great successes with your participation and enthusiasm!!*

RULE REFRESHERS

*Just a note to let everyone know the rules on a Team Tournament. You are not allowed to partner with people who live in the same household as you. This includes anyone who plays from the same physical location, whether or not they actually reside there. This is a Case's rule and we can be penalized or even have our league removed if we do not follow their rules. If two people from the same household enter a teams tour as a team, the host will remove you from the tour.

*We want you to know we are working on stopping the incorrect token giving during a tour. Please do not get offended if you are asked to refresh your room by the host. We are randomly having people refresh
to update their tokens in an attempt to stop the few who are giving improper counts. It is sad we have to go to these extremes to get fair games, but we think it will be worth it.  Remember, it's not about whether we win or lose but how we play the game!

*DQ'ing in a tour....We want to remind all of you that once you give your final token count in a tour, you may not disqualify yourself and give the win to your opponent. If you dq yourself before you give your token count, then your opponent wins. If you give your token count and then try to dq, the win will go to the person you are matched against in the next round. The rules state that the person with the highest token count moves forward and the host must stick by this rule.

*Game Rules and Table Setups: For anyone who is unsure about how the rules go or how to set a table in a particular game you may refer to the Game Rules link on the left side of the main page. If you have any questions please feel free to ask a host.  It would also be helpful to check out the FAQ link on the left side of the main page as well for further info and player etiquette.

*Welcome to all of our new members!!  The Mystical Minds are a very friendly bunch (of nuts!)  Please don't hesitate to ask questions or participate in chat...We want everyone to be comfortable and have fun!  We are all family whether we've know each other for days or years!  Welcome to the Nuthouse!

*Has anyone noticed how awesome the Hosts Tour Pages are?  That's because they're designing them themselves!  Our hosts have been working so hard at learning html, finding pictures and music and creating their own Tour Pages from scratch!  As easy as it is to use the jump box to register for a tour, please show the hosts your support by visiting their tour pages and see for yourself the hard work and creativity put into each one! Job well done all of you!!
